Makayla competed in her school's Spelling Bee in January and won! She then went on to compete in the Alaska State Spelling Bee last week with 154 other 3rd - 8th graders. She came out in the top 35. We were very proud of her hard work and dedication to the competition. She's already planning for next year's Bee!
